Objective:
This six-month program teaches you how to maintain, manage, and analyze business accounts using both manual and computerized methods as a professional accountant. You will learn the fundamentals of accounting, journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, final accounts, depreciation, and bank reconciliation. You will then learn computerized accounting with Tally Prime, including company creation, vouchers, inventory management, GST (Goods and Services Tax) accounting and returns, TDS, payroll, and financial reports. The course also covers MS Excel for accounting, basics of income tax, and an introduction to e-filing and online GST portal practice. With regular practice on real business accounting problems, assignments, and a live final project in which you maintain a complete set of books for a business, you build the skills to start as an accountant, accounts executive, GST executive, or billing and finance executive, work in business firms, CA offices, and accounting departments, start your own accounting and GST filing services, or move on to advanced courses such as B.Com, CA/CMA foundation, and Advanced Tally with GST.
