Objective:
This twelve-month program teaches you the complete skills required to work in and manage a professional beauty parlour. You will learn the fundamentals of skin, hair, and nail care, skin types and skin problems, personal hygiene, and the safe use of beauty tools, products, and equipment. You will then learn practical skills such as cleanup, facials, bleaching, waxing, threading, manicure, pedicure, hair cutting, hair styling, hair spa, hair coloring, hair straightening and smoothening, and bridal, party, and HD makeup. The advanced modules cover mehndi (henna) designing, saree draping, nail art, skin treatments, body massage, an introduction to aromatherapy, salon hygiene and sanitization, customer handling, and beauty parlour management, including pricing, marketing, and stock control. With regular hands-on practice on live models and a live final project, such as a complete bridal makeover, you build the skills to start as a beautician, makeup artist, or hair stylist, work in salons, spas, and bridal studios, start your own beauty parlour, or move on to advanced courses such as Advanced Bridal Makeup, Professional Hair Styling, and Cosmetology.
